Planetary Plate for Single Disc Machines

The Klindex Multidisc planetary plate is designed to give a standard 17-inch single-disc floor machine the faster, multi-head action normally associated with a planetary polishing system.

Instead of running one conventional drive board, the Multidisc uses multiple rotating heads to increase tooling speed and improve contact with the floor. This makes it particularly useful for professional stone polishing and lighter grinding work where you want to get more performance from an existing rotary machine.

For contractors already using a single-disc machine, adding a planetary plate can be a practical way to expand what the machine can do without moving straight to a dedicated planetary floor grinder. The faster disc movement can help improve productivity during polishing and surface refinement while giving the tooling several working points across the floor.

The 17-inch Klindex Multidisc is suitable for professional floor restoration work and can be used with the appropriate polishing or grinding tooling depending on the job. With the correct clutch plate, the system can also be adapted to a wide range of single-disc rotary machines.

It's particularly useful for marble, terrazzo, concrete and natural stone restoration where a conventional rotary machine is already part of your setup but you want greater speed and versatility from the polishing process.

As with any planetary system, the tooling and machine setup need to be matched to the surface and the type of work you're carrying out. For heavier grinding and material removal, a dedicated floor grinder may still be the better choice.
