Silicon Carbide Floor Brushes

Our silicon carbide floor brushes are made for demanding cleaning and restoration work where a standard floor pad doesn't provide enough cutting action.

They're particularly useful on heavily soiled, textured and uneven floors, where the abrasive bristles can get into the surface and grout lines more effectively. Depending on the grit you choose, they can be used for everything from controlled deep cleaning through to aggressive scrubbing and stripping old finishes.

For larger floor areas, our professional rotary brushes are available in 13, 15 and 17-inch sizes, with different grit options to suit the level of cleaning required. They're a practical choice for stone floors, grout and other hard surfaces where dirt has worked its way into the texture of the floor.

We also stock a smaller 4-inch silicon carbide brush with an M14 fitting for more detailed restoration work. It's particularly useful on riven and uneven natural stone, including Yorkshire stone, slate and terracotta, where a larger rotary machine can't always reach or follow the surface properly.

Silicon carbide brushes can also be useful when preparing a floor for the next stage of restoration. By removing ingrained dirt, coatings and contamination first, you're left with a much cleaner surface to work with before moving on to honing, polishing or sealing.

Whether you're tackling an older riven stone floor, cleaning deep grout lines or stripping a heavily used hard floor, the right carbide brush can save a lot of time compared with repeatedly working the same area with conventional cleaning pads.
