Repolished Restoration is a family-run UK business with over 40 years of combined experience in the natural stone and floor restoration industry. We specialise in supplying professional floor polishing, grinding, cleaning and sanding equipment, along with diamond tools, pads, brushes, consumables and spare parts to the trade.
Founded by Julie and Rob Hall, Repolished Restoration was created to support flooring contractors, stone restoration specialists and trade professionals with reliable machinery, trusted brands and expert technical advice.
My name is Julie Hall, co-founder and owner of Repolished Restoration. My career in the flooring industry began in 2000, when I trained as a tiler — a turning point that sparked a long-standing passion for tiling, flooring and natural stone.
My husband Rob began his career in sales for a German company specialising in floor applications and technical solutions, providing advice and products for problem floors. He later progressed into sales within the natural stone tile industry, supplying prestigious companies such as Fired Earth, Lapicida and European Heritage (London).
In 2001, we opened our own natural stone tile showroom, Plan-it-Earth, in Addingham, Ilkley. We sourced and showcased natural stone tiles from around the world and supplied tools, fixing products and stone maintenance solutions to both customers and professional tilers.
Running this business allowed us to develop extensive product knowledge, design expertise and strong relationships within the industry. Our focus was always on exceptional customer service, something we became well known for and which led to a loyal customer base built on trust and recommendations.
In 2008, following the UK recession and after years of running a successful showroom, we decided to change direction and focus on restoring, cleaning, repairing and maintaining natural stone floors across Yorkshire.
This led to the creation of Cleaned and Sealed, Rob’s floor restoration business, which continues to thrive today through word-of-mouth recommendations — a true reflection of his skill, dedication and passion for achieving the highest standards in floor restoration.
In January 2024, we launched Repolished Restoration to supply the trade with professional-grade floor machines, tools and consumables — backed by real-world experience.

We were already very familiar with Klindex and Hyper Grinder machines, as Rob has used them extensively within his own restoration business for many years. When the opportunity arose to become the UK Master Distributor for Klindexand suppliers of the Hyper Grinder-manufactured Beton range, it was a natural next step.
With Rob’s hands-on experience in stone and wood floor restoration, he is able to provide technical support, product guidance and practical advice based on real site work — not just theory.
