Self-Polishing Varnish for Marble & Granite

Klindex Ritocco is a professional self-polishing varnish for marble, granite and terrazzo, designed for those parts of a restoration job that are difficult to finish with a floor polishing machine.

It's particularly useful around edges, corners and other awkward areas where a traditional rotary or planetary machine simply can't reach. Once applied, Ritocco forms a durable protective film over the surface while bringing back a clean, high-gloss finish.

The product also works well on textured, bush-hammered and absorbent stone where you want to improve the appearance and give the surface a more finished look. For restoration contractors, this makes it a useful product for touch-ups and detailed finishing once the main grinding and polishing work has been completed.

Ritocco should be applied to a clean, completely dry surface using a white pad. On more absorbent stone, a second coat can be applied once the first has fully dried. Because it's solvent based, it's important to apply it carefully rather than spraying it onto the surface.

For marble and granite polishing, it's best thought of as a specialist finishing product rather than a replacement for the normal grinding, honing and machine-polishing stages. Its real advantage is being able to deal with the small areas that machines struggle to reach while keeping the finish consistent with the rest of the job.
